Selfie Project
Created using Adobe Illustrator
Reflection:
1. What was your initial thought of the selfie project? My first initial thought I had when I first heard of the selfie project was disappointment. I got anxiety at the fact that I had to work on something that was suppose to resemble or even mirror my face. 2. How did you feel about your selfie and Adobe Illustrator after the first few days? I did not like the way my selfie was turning out the first couple of days. My skin color was purple and I was still trying to learn how to use the tools correctly. I still had to clean up the lines but didn't learn how to till a couple days. 3. How did you feel about your Selfie and Adobe Illustrator after you were done with the project? I am actually very proud of the way my selfie turned out. The tools at first were very difficult to use but I quickly learned how to use them. I'm happy with the way the skin color, the way the lines and shapes look all together. 4. What helped you most in learning how to use Adobe Illustrator? My peers were one of the main reasons I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator so quickly because when I had a question on how to do something they would be there to aid me. Chris' mini lesson on Adobe Illustrator was helpful to get the basics down. |
5. What part of your selfie are you most proud of? What would you have liked to have done better? How were you challenged? My favorite part of my selfie has to be my eyelashes because they're so detailed and I felt like I spent the most time on it to perfect them. They were probably the hardest part of my selfie as well. Because they were so detailed I had to make sure that they didn't look so long and unnatural. 6. What did you like about the project? I really liked how we got to be super creative with this project. I had the choice to make myself look the way I wanted too. If I wanted to edit things out or edit things in, I was able too. 7. How can the project be improved? I felt like this project could be improved by having Chris show us more tools on Adobe Illustrator so we have more options to choose from and see how we can use those tools to improve and make our selfie look more realistic. |
